Participants usually gain a leap forward in skill and confidence because of intense riding in a short period of time. If you are serious about improving your riding skills, come to one of our clinics. You do not have to be a regular rider at R & R Stables to enjoy one of our clinics. Day Clinics for Juniors are offered throughout the year, over school vacations and on many national holidays. These clinics include 2 riding lessons per day as well as many other fun activities, including learning horsemanship, crafts, and much more. Adult Clinics are offered on a regular basis. Some are a one day intensive session, with others running over a long weekend. Occasionally, we offer an outside Coach the opportunity to come and work with our participants. Advanced Clinics are one-day clinics for advanced riders that truly challenge their skills. Most of the riding at the Advanced Clinic is done to improve your riding position, showmanship skills and giving you an opportunity to ride with others that are not a part of your regular riding sessions. Riders will be sore, but seat, balance and confidence will be improved dramatically in one day. These clinics are split by age of rider. Beginning Clinics are offered to those who have never ridden or are not yet ready for a group. The emphasis at these clinics is on working around the horse and learning about the horse. Participants learn to help catch, halter, groom and tack up the horse, with two riding sessions. They will also learn about horses, parts of the saddle and bridle, breeds of horses, and more! This is an introductory horse experience for novice riders of all ages.
